Favorite Make Up Products of 2011

Celebrating the new year with a new post.

I'm not the type of person to accumulate favorite make up products monthly, so I thought I'd share some of my yearly favorites.

EOS Lip Balms
EOS lip balms aren't the most moisturizing, but they do a pretty decent job of preventing my lips from flaking during the winter.  What I like most about them is their packaging.  They come in a range of colors and are packaged in this fun spheric shape.  Another great thing about EOS products are they are organic and paraben free.

Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette
I've used all of the eye creams under the sun, but I've recently come to terms with the fact that it's genetic and I will never completely get rid of my panda eyes.  This concealer is dirt cheap and is great at covering my horrible dark circles.  It's a cream concealer and a little goes a long way.  The only downfall is the lack of color range.  This concealer palette comes with two concealer shades shown on the top and bottom left, one neutralizer on the lower right and one translucent powder on the upper right.  The concealer shades are meant for more lighter skin tones.  What I use is the darker of the two, which comes off lighter when applied.

Revlon Brow Fantasy
I've recently switched from brow powder to this eye brow pencil.  After using this I can confidently say I'd never go back to powder.  This brow pencil allows me to fill in my brows with precision.  The packaging makes it easy for travel.  I'm not a fan of having to sharpen the tip but other than that I have no complaints.

Maybeline Dream Matte Powder
This is a very light powder, great for setting foundation.  I usually get the color Sand Medium 0-1.  This doesn't provide much coverage but it's works beautifully as a setting and blotting powder.  On top of the panda eyes I suffer from an oily T zone so I carry one of these in my makeup bag for whenever I need touch ups throughout the day.

These are some of my make up recommendations for the year of 2012.  They are all drug store products, so they're dirt cheap but great quality.

I'm off to bed with a cup of green tea.  See you in my next post!
